How it works

One point of coordination, five phases, one coordinated process.

Every relocation is different. The way SettleDone runs one isn't. Here is how the process moves from a first conversation to fully settled in Ireland.

The five phases

A stable process, applied to a specific move.

  1. 01

    Understand your situation

Get a clear, honest picture of what you're moving from, moving toward and what makes your case specific.

    SettleDone
Runs a focused Discovery Call, listens properly and identifies the shape of the work.
    Client
Describes the situation, timing and constraints honestly.
    Providers
    None yet.
    Output
A written recommendation of the appropriate next step.
  2. 02

    Build the right route

Turn the situation into a plan — sequenced, dependency-aware and decision-ready.

    SettleDone
Maps workstreams, dependencies, decisions and provider requirements.
    Client
Provides the information needed to build a realistic plan and approves the shape.
    Providers
Consulted where a preliminary specialist view is needed.
    Output
A Relocation & Expansion Blueprint or a scoped concierge engagement.
  3. 03

    Coordinate the moving parts

Move each workstream at the right time, through the right provider, in the right order.

    SettleDone
Selects and briefs providers, manages handoffs and keeps the sequence on track.
    Client
Signs provider engagements, provides information and makes required payments.
    Providers
Perform regulated and specialist work under their own professional terms.
    Output
Progress across every workstream, on the same plan.
  4. 04

    Keep you informed

Ensure you always know what's happening now, what's next and what — if anything — needs a decision.

    SettleDone
Sends regular written progress updates and flags open decisions clearly.
    Client
Reviews updates, approves decisions and raises anything new.
    Providers
Provide status updates to us; we translate them into the whole-programme view.
    Output
Clear visibility across the entire relocation, not just one workstream at a time.
  5. 05

    Get you settled

Follow through past arrival so the move ends at 'settled', not at 'landed'.

    SettleDone
Coordinates arrival logistics and first-weeks setup; closes out open threads.
    Client
Takes practical steps that require the client in person (appointments, signatures).
    Providers
Complete any final registrations, filings or handovers.
    Output
A relocation that has genuinely landed — with someone still on the line if something surfaces.

Where responsibility sits

SettleDone coordinates. Independent specialist providers perform. You approve.

Talk it through

Want to see how this would run for your specific move?

What gets coordinated

Every workstream is on the same plan.

  • Immigration & work

Employment permits, visas and the sequencing that determines when the rest of the move can move.

  • Company & payroll

Company formation, payroll setup, statutory registrations and the operational scaffolding around them.

  • Housing

Areas, timing, viewings, offers and the practicalities of securing a home before you arrive.

  • Schools & family

School research and applications, childcare, healthcare registrations and the decisions that shape family life.

  • Banking & practical setup

Bank accounts, PPS numbers, utilities, connectivity — the everyday infrastructure a new life relies on.

  • Arrival & settling in

Landing week, first month and the countless small decisions that determine how quickly you actually feel settled.

An example dependency sequence

How workstreams typically interact.

Illustrative — every case differs. This is the kind of shape a real dependency chain tends to take, not a promised sequence.

  1. 01Immigration route selected — determines when payroll, tenancy and school applications can proceed.
  2. 02Company formation initiated — determines when banking and accounting setup can start.
  3. 03Banking and payroll set up — determines when first hires or founder payroll can begin.
  4. 04Area shortlisted — determines school shortlist and viewing plan.
  5. 05Housing offer made — determines arrival date.
  6. 06Arrival date confirmed — determines school application timing and setup sequencing.

Communication & scope

How we keep the programme visible and honest.

Progress visibility

Regular written updates covering the whole programme, not just individual workstreams. Cadence is confirmed as part of scope.

Scope management

Material changes to scope are confirmed in writing before proceeding. Smaller adjustments happen as part of running a real move.

Change requests

Change is expected in a relocation. What matters is that changes are named, priced honestly and re-sequenced against the plan.

Common questions

How it works — frequently asked.

  • Regular written progress updates are part of every programme. The precise cadence is confirmed as part of scope. What's guaranteed is that you always know what's next and whether a decision is needed from you.

Next step

Let's understand your move and determine the right next step.
