The experience behind the company
My first international move began under pressure. When I left Ukraine in 2022, the immediate priority was safety, not constructing the perfect long-term immigration, business and family plan.
In the United States, I rebuilt my life and continued building my career and businesses. I also learned how deeply everyday life in a new country depends on systems that are invisible until you need them: status, banking, housing, insurance, transport, healthcare and credit history.
When my husband and I later chose Ireland as our long-term base, we approached the move differently. We researched countries for years. We created an Irish company, hired employees, established payroll, completed a Critical Skills process and planned the physical move carefully.
Even with time, experience and professional providers, the most difficult work remained the same: connecting every workstream into one sequence and ensuring that the right person acted at the right time.
The gap we discovered
Good providers were not the problem. Fragmentation was.
Company formation, payroll, immigration, banking, housing, schools, shipping and arrival were all handled through different organisations. Each provider had a defined scope, but the dependencies between those scopes remained ours to manage.
That gap is why SettleDone exists.

SettleDone coordinates the relocation process and performs suitable non-regulated concierge work. Legal, immigration, tax and accounting advice is provided by appropriately authorised professionals. Specialist company-formation, property and other work is performed by suitable third-party providers. Government, banking, landlord and school decisions remain outside SettleDone's control.
